Individual Gun Club Program
We need your help.
Add a Ronald McDonald House Lewis Class Option to each registered event in 2007
Individual Clubs
The Kids & Clays Foundation proposes Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays clubs host option events benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities® and families of sick and injured children. Organizers will promote their club and the charity events. Clubs shooting other disciplines, i.e. rifle, handgun, archery, etc., will also be welcome in this program.
How the program works:
Just contact Kids & Clays Foundation office at (219) 874-2100,
ext. 325 or go to www.kidsandclays.com
and fill out a request for tournament form.
Add an additional Lewis Class Option to any events you hold at
your club. The dollars collected are split between the shooters for the Lewis
Class Pot and half is sent to Kids & Clays Foundation to support the Ronald
McDonald House of your choice. If you don’t have a Ronald McDonald House in
your area, you can also direct all money raised at your event to be
distributed to Ronald McDonald House Charities by Kids & Clays Foundation
helping family’s all over the country.
Any and all events that your club holds are eligible to be a
RMHC Option Event.
There isn’t a limit to the number of event that can be designated as an RMHC Option Event.
Your club will set up, any style of event, that is popular in their area and charge their normal fee plus a suggested $20 charity fee that will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities. For example, if the club normally charges $28 for a 100 bird event, they will just add $20 additional to the cost to make it a total cost of $48 per participant. The additional amount to be added to regular daily fees is up to each individual club. Any amount works for us and only you know what is good for your area. The total collected is then divided and half goes into the Lewis Class Pot and half is donated to the Ronald McDonald House of your choice.
Clubs make their normal profit and have a great reason to have an additional event at their facility. In addition it promotes good will through Ronald McDonald House Charities and shows the public that guns and shooting events are a positive thing for communities. After the event, clubs send the Kids & Clays Foundation a check for their events charity fees.

History of Ronald McDonald House
The only thing worse than being sick is being homesick, which is precisely the reason why the Ronald McDonald House Charities® was created. Frequently, critically ill children are forced to travel far from home and away from their loved ones to seek special medical attention. The Ronald McDonald House offers temporary lodging for families and so much more. It’s a place for parents and kids to rest…regroup… and just be together as a normal family in a situation that is far from normal.
Each Ronald McDonald House is a not-for-profit organization and financial support is critical to the success of the Ronald McDonald House program.
Each House relies on monetary and in-kind gifts from the community it serves and on revenue generated through local and national fundraising events.
Ronald McDonald House has grown into one of the most regarded charities, in the world, hosting more than 6,000 families each night at approximately 258 Ronald McDonald Houses in 24 countries.
To help perpetuate this great success we started “Shooting to Improve Children’s Lives” back in 1999. The huge success and potential for growth of this program was obvious so we expanded its scope and formed the Kids & Clays Foundation. The Foundation solicits the shooting sports industry and hosts Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clay events. We then distribute those funds and/or goods to Ronald McDonald Houses. Thanks to the support of many caring individuals and our sponsors, more than $750,000 was raised last year and close to $3,000,000 since we began.
